the band
David Allen Coe, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, and other bad mo fos. They even wrangle their own songs that travel
the same dusty roads as their outlaw heroes. Best of all, Rodeo Kill runs tighter than a dry county.”

Outlaw country.
In the late 60’s, early 70’s, the Nashville sound of country music was
tired and worn. Out of Texas and other areas came new, progressive country
artists. Combining country with rock and returning to the basics of the blues,
more than the big band jazz and swing that was currently dominating pop country,
Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merl Haggard, Waylon Jennings, David Allen Coe and
others put an edge back in country music and changed the genre forever.
Drinking, loving, trucking, outerspace, cowboys, guns…
Breakin’ hearts and bleedin’ eardrums.
